Six Month Stats

Ramey had her six month check up on friday...

14lbs 5 oz and 25 7/8" (so close to 26"!!) We've officially moved up to 9 month sleepers (although she still fits into 6 month 2 piece outfits)

The doctor was impressed with all her abilities!!! And surprised by all her teeth! The biggest surprise came when she checked out her ears... both have infections!!! My poor baby's first ear infection and its a double!! She's on an antibiotic and doing well. We go back in 2 weeks to make sure it's cleared up and will do her shots then.

Uncle Brendan gave me the best Christmas presents...

The snowsuit was great for our trip to Aspen... I have a lot of fun with my little robotBut the dinosaur has to be my all time favorite:

Nature Museum and Butterfly Garden

Brian and Kristin drove up for the day so we spent the afternoon at the Nature Museum and Butterfly garden.

I can't believe how big Garrett is getting... he gave me a good idea as to what needs to be baby proofed (Thanks Baby G!)

Six Months... Oh where did the time go?!?!

It's hard to believe that we welcomed this little beauty into our lives just 6 months ago. She is the light of our lives and we love her dearly

A few of her latest accomplishments:
~Sits unassisted
~Rolls over both ways~Rotates in a circle to get to toys that she wants
~Passes toys from one hand to the other
~Army crawling... backwards :-P
~starting to get up on her knees and rock back-n-forth, she's going to be crawling before we know it
~Loves to jump while being held

~Has 3 teeth!!! (and is working on a forth... oh my!)

I made a cake (red velet... thanks Lori... so yummy) to celebrate Ramey's 6 months. (ok more so because Grandma and Donna were in town but whatever...)

Ladies n' Babies Luncheon

On Friday we had a nice afternoon with Kristie & Chloe, Christy & Sydney and Auntie Angela, the photographer. Angela brought all the girls adorable hats and vests back from Colorado and we had a mini photo shoot with the girls...

Ramey had a mini melt down and screamed the whole time... hopefully Ang got some better shots:

Ramey had us cracking up as she tried apples for the first time!

She Likes It!!

Oatmeal cereal!!! Ron gave Ramey some cereal on Saturday and she really likes it!! She prefers it hot... big surprise, who like cold oatmeal?!?!

Daddy must have the touch as I've tried here and there over the last week and she just wasn't interested

On the Move

Sort of...

This is NOT where I left her!!!




Rarely do I find Ramey in the same spot on the blanket when I turn away... she's a rolling, squirming, twisting, turning fool!!! Once she rolls onto her tummy she will either do "the worm" (think break-dancing) or rock side-to-side to get to a desired toy. The other night I set her down on the hardwoods for a sec and low-n-behold she was doing the backwards army crawl down the hallway!!! I'M NOT READY !!! Someone please tell my little girl she isn't allowed to get any older!!!

Oh, we submitted our application for her passport!!! Don't think we'll need it for our trip to Puerto Rico but figured it's a good idea to have some idenification for her.

Oh no... backwards army crawl happening on the blanket... I am so not ready... better get busy baby proofing... How long till she finds Lefty's dishes?!?! ;-)

Sick Baby

So we had our first battle with a bug... Saturday night shortly after finishing eating, Ramey threw up 75% of everything she just ate :-( Luckily that was the only episode out that end...

The other end was another story, who know something so little could produce such horrific smells!!! She went thru 3 jammies Saturday night with massive, stinky explosions!!!

I think we both caught a stomach bug as I wasn't feeling so hot yesterday either... Good thing it was a Sunday and Ron was able to take care of Ramey!

I'm feeling better and Ramey seems better too... awaiting the next "deposit"

On the agenda this week... getting her passport!!! Lunch with Lynn and Kathryn... And maybe meeting up with Angela!
